Train the Trainer Sessions
This is a unique training experience that I offer to clients. We get together for one on one training sessions at a convenient location for you, the customer. These sessions are charged at an hourly rate and can last as long as you would like. The sessions will consist of skills that you want to work your dog on. We will determine your goals and develop a training plan to help meet your goals. Not only will we work on these skills during our session but we will set up a program for you to work on, at your own pace, when you go home.
This type of training is ideal for the customer who does not like the idea of shipping their dog away for two or three months of training. Some people do not like the idea of their dog being gone for a long period of time for training. In some cases, sending the dog away for a period of time is best but if you feel you want to do a lot of your training yourself these one on one sessions might be what you are looking for.
You are more than welcome to train at the Oak Pond Gun Dog site. I also like to do some training at a local game farm where we will have full access to game birds and a large training area which will include live flyers.
